I have often found myself in want of a place to talk about books, but haven't quite found the right landing spot for this discussion. I post the books I'm reading and book reviews on Goodreads, I request DRC's (downloadable review copies) through NetGalley and write my reviews there, and I download DRC's and write reviews on Edelweiss. I write staff picks at the bookstore I work at to sell books that I love. And I occasionally post on my book-focused Instagram.
But when I want to talk about the minutiae - when I want to stand on my soap box and explain why one should get their audiobooks from Libro.fm or Libby as opposed to Audible - I need a place for that.
